PURPOSE

To provide information regarding the State of Nevada's redesigned Certificate of Title and Salvage Title.

DETAILS

Effective December 1, 2010, Nevada began issuing a new Certificate of Title and Salvage Title.

Attached is a copy of the redesigned blue Certificate of Title and orange Salvage Title from the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles with an explanation of the new design and security features.

Please take particular note of the description of the very unique Thermo-chromic printing feature on this new title form.

All previous versions of Nevada titles will continue to be acceptable.
