Subject: Acceptable Documentation for Transfers Involving Daimler Chrysler Financial Services (DCFS) Trust as Purchaser or Seller.
These documents contain text of correspondence sent by TxDMV to the county tax assessor-collectors, statutory agents who provide vehicle registration and titling services for citizens in Texas. This information is provided to apprise the general public of issues affecting the state's vehicle titling and registration process.
PURPOSE
To advise that on November 15, 2010, Daimler Chrysler Financial Services (DCFS) Trust has changed its name and will now be referred to as Daimler Trust.
DETAILS
The grantor of the Trust is Daimler Trust Holdings LLC, a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC. The Trustee of the Trust is BNY Mellon Trust of Delaware and the Trustee's address is White Clay Center, Route 273, Newark, DE, 19711.
A copy of the attached Affidavit of Trust and POA is acceptable to support title transactions indicating the trust as the purchaser or seller. The spaces for the seller's or purchaser's signature on the assignment of title and Form 130-U, when applicable, should be completed as follows:

COUNTY ACTION
Vehicle Titles and Registration (VTR) Division Regional Offices will accept copies of the attachments for the issuance of certified copies of titles indicating Daimler Trust as recorded owner provided proper verified proof and appropriate fee are submitted.
