Dealer Training Seminars
TXDMV offers training seminars to help dealers understand the rules and regulations that govern their businesses. Each day-long seminar includes information that enables dealers to stay in compliance and avoid common unintentional violations. Topics include: advertising, selling and financing motor vehicles, trade-ins, titles, and eTags. At the seminar, dealers have the opportunity to interact with TXDMV staff to better understand how the law and rules impact business practices.
TXDMV training seminars are provided by TXDMV at no cost to dealers or their employees. We invite everyone who is interested in working in the motor vehicle industry to attend. The Motor Vehicle Dealer Manual and other useful materials are available under the “Publications” link.
Seminar Schedule
TxDMV offers seminars at locations throughout the state year-round. The schedule is updated annually. Because space is limited, please register prior to the event.

Cancellation and Substitutions
Registrants cancelling at least 48 hours before the event can fax notice to the TxDMV at (512) 374-5496.
If you have registered, but are unable to attend, you may send another person in your place. The substitute should inform TxDMV staff at the time of seminar attendance.
